Thanks for the link! Interesting site, don't have to agree with everything there but it is a good read and he obviously done his homework.
On Jason Stanford. He'll never have a career like Chuck Finley. He's a soft-tossin' lefty and never considered a top prospect. Maybe after he's 35 he can be Jamie Moyer but that is a longshot (and a long time away).

For the record I am no fan of Jason Stanford, i just threw his name out there since he is a candidate for the fifth starter. Stanford though pitched well last season in addition to the AZ Fall league and WorldCup games. As for Finleys replacement it will be Traber who has been compared to a young UPCHUCK.

Considering he says he only follows tribe prospects and the June draft, my guess is that he hasn't had time to look at Snyder and Elder yet. Remember, they were not on the team until like 2 weeks ago, if this guy is for real in his research he probably wants to watch them first hand, which means going to Akron and Buffalo games.

Mike, I relayed your request to Tommy and got this back:

"I don't think Snyder warrants a write-up
because he does not have the skills to play any position, other than 1st, and he is
old and really not that great of a hitter. Perhaps Elder might deserve something but I posted my site before the Rocker deal. I have become aware of an error or two on the site and will edit it in soon. Perhaps
adding in Elder is something else to do."

FYI Snyder was just a throw in to replace Danny Peoples who John Hart was very high on, both career minor Leaguers, Elder is just another power arm for the pen.
